Footage captures terrifying moment Glasgow lorry crash sends load of wood crashing onto M8

Dash-cam footage reveals the terrifying moment wood came crashing onto the lower carriageway – hitting one van and causing another vehicle to swerve quickly.

Emergency services were called to the collision at around 5.30pm at junction 22 eastbound near the M77.

Sadly, Tom Meikle, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene.
